Arrival in Pescadero
We did surgery in Pescadero and Todos Santos for two days each. These towns are on the Pacific coast about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas. The last two days of surgery were in La Ribera, which is on the Sea of Cortez, about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas.

Bruce Langlois was the chief veterinarian on the trip and is the head of the veterinary branch of RAM. Angelique is a German woman who lived in the US and then left for Baja. She was the chief organizer of volunteers and dogs and cats in Baja. She is a great animal lover and a very spirited woman.
Jeep's house: Jeep is an American ex-patriot and we stayed for four days at his house in Pescadero. It is a concrete building to which he added a palapa (palm roof), creating outdoor verandas on which we slept. Beautiful!
This is Pesky (named for Pescadero) and one of the many kitties at Jeep's. There were many siamese and siamese crosses in the area.

The night we arrived we were treated to steak dinners at Barb's restaurant Cañada el Diablo, in Todos Santos. The first two days of surgery were at Jeep's house, and the next two were at Barb's restaurant. She makes THE MOST AMAZING margaritas.
