| I spayed the black dog, which belongs to the little girl. It was not unusual for parents and children to be watching us cutting on their pets. I think it reflects a more wholistic attitude towards life and death that is very different from American culture, where we keep death as far away from us as possible. Being American, it was a shock to realize that the owner was watching you work, and I never got used to it. | |
