  1. how does it feel to be at home

    this raises questions andrew:

who was first in this window sil?
    (old)viking skates? no claps skates?
where is your cat looking at? (birds outdoors/ andrew arranging picture…)

    back to black and white?

    nice pic

  2. Jules,

the cat is not mine, it’s my next door neighors…

the cat “Meeps” is a true weirdo, the kind of cat who will rub on you, sit on your lap & purr, then if you try to stand up, or leave, will spit & hiss & threaten you with multi-clawed death..

I do have an “ebay special” pair of classic vikings, I skate on them once or twice a week, just for post-workout warmdowns, they improve my push direction & blade control on the straights…

Anyway, as I was putting away all my skate stuff for the summer, I had an idea for a photo, so I walked outside with camera & skates, and saw Meeps stalking around on top of some trash bins/recycling bins..

I abandoned my original idea, & took a couple of pictures of Meeps with my hardtails…

Only one had “life” to the photo, & after extensive photoshopping, it looked best in black and white..

  3. I like this! I like how the cat’s leg is lined up with the whatever-it’s-called at the front of the boot, and the nose and nose… It also made me think about what I think a good skating day feels like, which was nice and interesting for a while on my bike ride.
