How She Looks at Me

All the propaganda from that parental lobby is true; Having kids just changes everything.

Maybe I should set up an RZ specific blog, or a photostream somewhere, or this is in danger of becoming Zen & the Art of Diaper Changing with a fussy baby at midnight. (ZATAODCWAFBAM?)

She is my beautiful daughter, but she is not perfect all the time.

In general though, she is one very chill, happy baby, with two enthralled, somewhat sleep-deprived parents.

  1. Andrew- She is absolutely gorgeous. I for one really like reading about both speedskating and your beautiful RZ. I feel that your blog represents not just the essence of skating but the bigger picture of life which grounds us all. Thank you for sharing.

  2. Andrew,
I’m not much of a baby person (actually, I have to admit that I usually prefer dogs), but she sure is a cutie! I, for one, don’t mind a few baby pics in and amongst the speedskating stuff!

  3. Ah, man! Is that Jess peering at us in the first picture…or what?

  4. I still see Charlie, especially in the first one!

  5. Oh wow! What a cutie.
Great picture of her on the blanket.
    She has great expressions.
Glad all is well and have a great time!

  6. She sure is a cutie. Keep putting the pictures up, i dont’ think anyone will mind.

  7. It’s clear she is already like both of you — pensive, intense, expressive, opinionated and a whole lot of fun!

What a great group of photos! So happy to get to see them!

  8. She is beautiful. Belated congrats to you and Jess! I look forward to catching up.
