  1. I think you were a bit late posting this. Anyway, there was delay TV coverage on channel 5.2 for those with rabbit ear antennas and also USspeedskating had live broadcast on their website of nationals ST from Midland, Michigan.

  2. I think with all things considered, Andrew was llikely quite distracted from being able to meet accurate timelines. Yes it was old news, but the information was accurate. What may have been of more benefit, would be a listing of replay. Either way, it was great to attend. This was the first time I attended a LT WC since Dec ‘03 in SLC.

I guess I was a bit crazy to Drive overnight to watch the WC Sprints in Calgary in Dec ‘03, then drive straight through SLC immediately after the event to Las Vegas for four days, then return in time for the WC’s back in SLC the following weekend. I would not recommend such a crazy week, but I would do it again.

But driving 45 minutes from home to the ROO each way sure beats such a crazy feat from ‘03, even if it is two days in a row. In comparison, it’s just a simple commute.

On a different side, the event was sold out for both Saturday and Sunday. I arrived at the ROO two hours early on Saturday and it took me only 15 minutes to find an extra ticket. On Sunday, it took me a whole hour to find a person with an extra ticket. I was soaked, as it was raining and snowing the entire time. All four layers I wore were soaked, so I spent the entire 6 hours in the ROO having to wear just a t-shirt and trousers. My socks were soaked the entire time and were still slightly wet once I got home. I figured the dehumidification system would dry the clothes out, but that wasn’t reality. Sure glad it was indoors…

  3. Did I say, “I’m glad I didn’t put my wife through this–I might not be married anymore if I had.” She replied, “You didn’t have to ask me how I’d feel about it.”
