  3. Hey, I got it to work, and you KNOW how bad I am with computors. I almost cut a hole in the ice on Mirror Lake last winter and dumped mine into it.

By the way, looks like the Village of Lake Placid has committed to maintaining a natural ice loop on Mirror Lake this winter. So lots of marathon skating up here this year!

  4. Love the audio blog.

  5. can’t hear anything but us snails don’t have ears anyway…

  6. worked fine on this windows machine

  7. 11:55am - now it works! strange, indeed.

  8. Thanks all,

as a mac user, I want to do my best to have the video/audio in this site work for a broad range of platforms, especially because macs are a tiny sliver of the market.. and even though many windows machines can see quicktime just fine, quicktime is only installed in about 50% of the machines out there.. flash is like, 97%… audioblog uses flash…

Kate, I know you are on a hotrod PC at Cornell, with latest greatest everything.. I bet the problem was that because the audioblog file is imported into this page from audiblog.com, Cornell’s firewalls didn’t like it at all… people who try this from a major business might have the same issues…

I am not sure how much I will audioblog, as I don’t like how my voice sounds at all, and I can’t edit it like I do these words…

Its a nice option though, and I will probably begin running some of my video through audioblog’s flash-based mechanism… again, trying to make things accessable to as many people as possible…..

when Olympic Trials are happening, I will probably ask my Brother or Jessica to audioblog updates that day from the rink….. as I will be kinda “busy”…

maybe I should do a zen 10 questions with audio sometime??

again, thanks to all folks who commented… and Mr. Snail, I am fairly sure I know who you are, but the mystery is entertaining, so your slime trail is welcome in my little corner of the net (I am just kidding about the slime part..)…

  9. Works great and fast even all the way over here in Switzerland! Loved hearing your voice, my friend!

    How could I do that?

I got Skype. Download it and we can talk for free!
