  1. Thanks so much Andrew. Nice to see Hawke up there for the ladies. She came back from a broken back and seems to be making a great comeback. Looks like Pat is skating nicely for someone who had such a nasty crash a week or less ago.

  2. I bet Chad is getting mad that keeps beating him. Pat’s doing really well and Justin just keeps getting faster.

  3. ice there must be slow well its not much faster here right now hope to see you around when you get back

  4. justin keep up the great work. we allways knew you had it in you .

  5. we would like to here and see more of Justin Stelly.

  6. go coonpup

  7. Andrew,
Nice results page, along with pics! if it wasn’t for this blog these results are nowhere to be found - way to go!

  8. Check out the comments on Ohnozone as well, for complaints about lack of information on the junior short track event. Is USSPEEDSKATING capable of doing anything at all to promote the sport? Are they even trying?

  9. Eva, of course not. That would be like work. I’d also like to suggest to NEVER give out those blow up “bangers” at any sporting event, especially speedskating, ever again. Not only are they annoying, but the smell of petrolium is horrible. It seems like that’s the only thing any organizing committee CAN do.

  10. Oh, as for “are they even trying?” I will say that I did overhear Beth Bedford and Mr Jayner talking about things they can do for the next ST event being held in the US when I was in Montreal. I didn’t catch any specifics, but it sounded like they were both very dedicated, and from what I can tell about Beth, she seems to be a good seed. It’s too bad that it takes more than one, and short track isn’t the only discipline USS has to take care of anymore.

I’ve also heard that the USOC wants USS to relocate the ST team to SLC. I think this is a real possibilty. Has anyone else heard anything else about this who lives there?

    Sorry to go off topic.

  11. we are proud you finally your groove

  12. we are pulling for you and we are warm ha!ha! but we love you
